To End All Wars

You have heard that you should love your neighbour and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemy. - Dusty Miller

When Dusty Miller died, something in the hearts and minds of every man died with him. What we had somehow managed to hold on to for years of survival now seemed utterly meaningless. Like God Himself was playing a cruel joke on us all. And so I remembered Dusty's words so very long ago, "Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit." - Ernest Gordon

How does a man repay a selfless act - when his life is saved at the expense of another. - Ernest Gordon
